- Optional profile details
- Student or child info you choose to add (e.g., name, age, grade)
App Usage Analytics
- Basic device and usage information to help improve Upslope
- Analytics currently helps us understand what’s working and what needs improvement
We do not intentionally collect real-time location data; photos may contain location metadata if your device includes it.
How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Operate and personalize the app
- Analyze learning activities using AI
- Store your activity history
- Improve product performance and reliability
We do not:
- Sell or rent your data
- Share it for advertising
- Use your photos or content for marketing or public display
Where Your Data Goes (Trusted Service Providers)
We partner with secure third-party providers for storage, analytics, and AI processing. They may only use your data to perform services for Upslope, not for their own purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

- Request full account deletion at any time
To request account deletion, email support@upslope.com and we will respond within 30 days.
We are working toward offering analytics opt-out options in future versions.
Children & Parent Responsibilities
Upslope is designed for adults acting on behalf of children.
- Children under 13 may not create their own accounts
- Parents and educators are responsible for consent before uploading student photos or details
Data Security
We use secure cloud infrastructure and industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Only people you authorize (such as family or educators) can view your content.
International Use
Your data may be stored or processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. We apply safeguards to protect your information regardless of location.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves or as laws change. We will notify you in-app if changes are significant.
